Closet Share is a registered Canadian charity in Sudbury built on one idea: good clothing should be accessible, affordable, and kept out of landfill.
Founded by Melissa and Drew Porter, Closet Share grew from an idea into a community-driven charity built around clothing access, textile-waste reduction, and connection.
What started small quickly became something much bigger — a place where donated clothing is given a second life, and where people from all walks of life can shop, volunteer, learn new skills, and be part of a community.

A steady hand from the beginning, turning big ideas into reality behind the scenes.
Today, Closet Share provides free and affordable clothing, creates opportunities for volunteers, works alongside community organisations, and keeps finding new ways to keep textiles in use and out of landfill.
